ESR Classic Magnetic Wallet Stand: best for most people
ESR's Classic wallet is the easy default. It holds 5 cards across 3 separate slots and a clear ID window, so you can pull your license without fanning out every card. ESR also lists a 20 mm oval cutout at the bottom for pushing cards out, built-in RFID blocking and a fold-out stand. It works with MagSafe iPhones from the 12 series on, plus Apple and ESR magnetic cases. ESR says it doesn't fit the iPhone 12 mini or 13 mini. It's $26.99, price at publish (Oct 2026) (ESR, in stock in Burgundy).

Holds 5 cards with an ID window, RFID blocking and a built-in stand. $26.99 at ESR (price at publish, Oct 2026).
ESR Geo Wallet Stand: best value with Find My
The biggest worry with any MagSafe wallet is that it slides off without you noticing. The Geo answers that with a Find My module built in, so the wallet shows up in Apple's Find My app. It holds 1 to 3 cards and has a stand. ESR lists support for caseless MagSafe iPhones (12 series and later, excluding the 12 mini and 13 mini), MagSafe and HaloLock cases, and standard cases with ESR's HaloLock Universal Ring. It's $45.99, price at publish (Oct 2026) (ESR, in stock in Grey).

ESR Geo Wallet Stand (HaloLock)
$45.99, price at publish (Oct 2026)
MagSafe wallet stand with built-in Find My, holds 1 to 3 cards. $45.99 at ESR (price at publish, Oct 2026).
Apple iPhone FineWoven Wallet: best Apple option
Apple's own wallet is the cleanest-looking of the group and the only one listed for every MagSafe iPhone back to the iPhone 12, including the minis. It holds up to 3 cards, is shielded so it's safe for credit cards, and stacks on top of a MagSafe case. Apple says Find My can tell you the wallet's last known location if it separates from your phone. That's not the same as live tracking, which the ESR Geo and MOFT Trackable offer. It's $59, price at publish (Oct 2026) (Apple, available to buy in Black).

Apple iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe
$59, price at publish (Oct 2026)
Apple's MagSafe wallet in FineWoven microtwill, up to 3 cards, Find My last known location. $59 at Apple (price at publish, Oct 2026).
Peak Design Mobile Wallet Stand: most cards
If you carry more than a few cards, the Peak Design Mobile Wallet Stand holds the most here: up to 7, which you reach through a magnetically sealed pull tab. It's made from recycled nylon canvas and has a friction hinge that holds your phone at any angle, in portrait or landscape. It attaches with Peak Design's SlimLink system. Peak Design says it works with MagSafe phones and cases as well as its own cases. It's $59.95, price at publish (Oct 2026) (Peak Design, in stock).

MOFT Snap-on Phone Stand & Wallet: best budget stand
MOFT's Snap-on is the cheapest pick and comes in the widest color range, with eight colors in stock at publish. It's a slim wallet that folds into a phone stand, made from MOFT's MOVAS vegan leather. Check MOFT's product page for card capacity before you buy. It's $25.49, price at publish (Oct 2026) (MOFT, in stock).

MOFT's snap-on stand wallet with Find My tracking. $49.99 at MOFT (price at publish, Oct 2026).
How to choose a MagSafe wallet
- Count your cards. Most people carry an ID, one or two payment cards and a transit or work badge. If that's you, a 3-card wallet is enough. If you carry five or more, look at the ESR Classic or the Peak Design.
- Decide on tracking. A wallet that pulls off in a pocket is easy to lose. The ESR Geo and MOFT Trackable have Find My built in. Apple's FineWoven only reports a last known location.
- Check your case. Every pick here works on a bare MagSafe iPhone. With a case, use one that has MagSafe magnets, or the maker's adapter ring (ESR's HaloLock ring, Peak Design's Universal Adapter).
- Stand or no stand? Five of the six fold out into a stand for video calls and watching on a desk. Skip the stand if you want the slimmest wallet.
MagSafe wallet vs a slim wallet
A MagSafe wallet means one less thing in your pocket. The trade-off is that you lose your cards and your phone together, and most hold only a few cards, with little room for cash. A dedicated slim wallet holds more and can't fall off your phone. Our minimalist wallet guide covers that side, and Ridge vs Ekster compares two popular metal options.
MagSafe wallets that do more
Some newer designs go beyond cards. The Titaner Verso is a titanium tool-wallet, with tools built into the wallet itself. The Ohsnap Wallet 2 is a pop-up MagSafe wallet with a grip. The Ohsnap is a Kickstarter project, so read how to back EDC Kickstarters safely before you pledge. If tracking matters most, our smart wallets review and best Bluetooth trackers cover other options. What we left out
The Nomad Leather Mag Wallet ($99) is a well-reviewed Find My option in Horween leather, but it was sold out on Nomad's site at publish, so it isn't a pick here. We also left out no-name marketplace wallets that don't list a maker, materials or compatibility.
FAQ
Do MagSafe wallets fall off? They can, especially when you slide your phone into a tight pocket, because pocket friction can push the wallet sideways. A bare MagSafe iPhone or a case with MagSafe magnets gives the most secure fit. Find My models like the ESR Geo and MOFT Trackable help you find the wallet if it does come off.
Will a MagSafe wallet damage my cards? Apple says its FineWoven wallet is shielded so it's safe for credit cards. For other wallets, check the maker's page, and keep hotel key cards away from magnets.
Do MagSafe wallets work with a case? Yes, if the case has MagSafe magnets. Otherwise use an adapter ring such as ESR's HaloLock Universal Ring or Peak Design's Universal Adapter.
Can I charge my iPhone with the wallet attached? No. Remove the wallet before placing your phone on a MagSafe or Qi2 charger.
Do they work with the iPhone 12 mini or 13 mini? Apple's FineWoven Wallet lists both minis. ESR says its Classic and Geo wallets don't support them.
Which MagSafe wallet holds the most cards? Of these picks, the Peak Design Mobile Wallet Stand, at up to 7 cards.
