Gaming Gear

This small hub covers a few pieces of gaming gear. For most players on a budget, the first upgrades are a keyboard and a headset with a microphone, chosen to suit the platforms they play on.

Our gaming guides compare products on maker specs: switch type, connectivity, platform compatibility, weight and price. We do not run our own tests, and we do not give star ratings. Platform compatibility comes from the maker and can change with firmware updates, so check the maker's page before you buy.

The guides here cover budget gaming keyboards under $75, gaming headsets with microphones under $100, gaming chairs under $300, and the GameSir Tracer Pro lightgun. Gaming is outside our everyday carry focus, so this hub is kept intentionally brief and is not featured elsewhere on the site. Each guide lists the maker's specs in a table so you can compare them quickly and easily.
