More picks from our iPhone 18 Short:

The short version: per Apple's iPhone 18 Pro tech specs, both iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max support MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W. That means any MagSafe or Qi2 accessory snaps on, but only chargers rated for 25W can reach the top wireless speed. Older 15W Qi2 gear still works, just at its own rated output.

Each pick below is labeled one of two ways:

  • Maker says iPhone 18 compatible: the maker lists iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max on the product page.
  • Universal MagSafe/Qi2: the maker describes it as working with MagSafe or Qi2 iPhones in general, without naming the iPhone 18.

FAQ

How fast does iPhone 18 Pro charge wirelessly?

Apple lists MagSafe wireless charging up to 25W and Qi2 wireless charging up to 25W for both iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. An accessory only reaches that if it is rated for 25W itself.

Do iPhone 17 cases fit iPhone 18 Pro?

Do not assume so. Apple sells separate cases for iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max and lists each case for one model. Check the compatibility list on the case page before buying.

Will my older Qi2 15W charger work?

A Qi2 charger works with iPhone 18 Pro, but at the charger's rated output. Belkin, for example, notes that its Qi2 25W dock charges non-25W Qi2 devices at up to 15W.

Can I use a MagSafe wallet and a case together?

Apple says its FineWoven Wallet can stack on top of a case with MagSafe. Remove the wallet before wireless charging.

What does "universal MagSafe/Qi2" mean here?

It means the maker describes the product as working with MagSafe or Qi2 iPhones in general but does not name iPhone 18 on its page. These products use the same magnetic standard, but check the maker page if you need confirmed iPhone 18 support.
